Salvo Vitale

The Italian bass, Salvo Vitale, had studied at the Scuola Civica di Milano, be fore he studied singing with E. Abumradi, E. Martelli and A. Goussev and attended the master-classes in Baroque singing held by Alan Curtis. In the 2000-2001 season, under the musical direction of Roberto Gini, Salvo Vitale performed music by Monteverdi in the show Il combattimento della Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, staged by Romeo Castellucci, presented in the most important European theater festivals including the Kunsten Festival des Arts in Brussels, Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, Holland Festival in Amsterdam, Festival d'Automne in Paris, Biennale di Venezia. He recorded for thge labels Stradivarius (music by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Carissimi, Jan Dismas Zelenka, Monteverdi), Chandos (music by Calegari), K617, Dynamic, Amadeus and Glossa.
