Mathias Vidal
After studying musicology in Nice, tenor Mathias Vidal studied singing and joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where he graduated in 2003. At the same time, he sang in the chorus of the Paris Opera as well as a few supporting roles at the Théâtre de Compiègne, then he made his debut in 2005 at the Opéra Grand Avignon in Tamino and Monostatos in Mozart's The Magic Flute.The following year, in 2006, he was Cecco in Le Monde de la lune by Haydn in Fribourg , the Innkeeper and Serenade Singer in Les Caprices de Marianne by Henri Sauguet as well as Lorenzo ( Fra Diavolo ) in Compiègne, but also Piquillo in La Périchole by Offenbach in Dijon. In 2007, he was named "Classic Revelation" by ADAMI. In 2008, the tenor took part in the Festival Radio France in Montpellier, where he played his first role as a high-counter in Le Roi Arthur by Purcell.
