Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival 2019, Krasnoyarsk
The Dmitri Hvorostovsky Festival pays tribute to one of the greatest Russian baritones of all time and takes place in Krasnoyarsk, the singer's hometown. From October 16-26, 2019, the Siberian city became an international hub as musicians from around the globe gathered to celebrate Dmitri Hvorostovsky's life and impact.
The festival was founded with the support of Alexander and Lyudmila Hvorostovsky, the singer's parents, and is run by the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Foundation with the general patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Krasnoyarsk Region Government. Anton Levahin is the artistic director of the Festival.
