Mezzo soprano Magdalena Kožená and La Cetra Barockorchester Basel perform a Baroque program as part of the Verbier Festival. The orchestra performs M. Uccellini's Aria quinta sopra La Bergamasca, T. Merula's Ballo detto Polliccio, D. Castello's Sonata XV a quattro, and B. Marini's Passacaglia a quattro. Kožená joins them to perform C. Monteverdi's "Disprezzata Regina", T. Merula's "Folle è ben che si crede", C. Monteverdi's "Arianna has a problem" (arr. M. Ivanovic) and Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda, and finally, G.F. Händel's "Lascia ch'io pianga" from Rinaldo.
